BIRDIE 10 at the Golf de Taulane, Michel TEICHET and his program BIRDIE bring us back to an extraordinary place of golf in the Mediterranean: the Domaine du Château de Taulane. Its exceptional location at nearly 1000m above sea level and less than 60 minutes from the Mediterranean make it an unusual place in the world.
Michel TEICHET and his team of pros, François LAMARE from the PGA Seniors and Alexis NOUDEU Head Pro from Taulane, drop us off on this mythical course signed by Gary PLAYER for new advice and some revisions (because nothing is definitively acquired!) for this 10th number of BIRDIE at the Taulane golf course.
In this issue, you will notice a very interesting analysis by François LAMARE on the action of the wrists in the drive which takes up the ricochet throw induced by Michel TEICHET to image the swing.
Then, all three will return to "à la carte" bunker approaches and exits: 56°, 58° or Iron 8? A solution for all levels of play: from the more experienced player to those who require a little more security "not to destroy their card".
Michel TEICHET's videos can be viewed several times, several stages. The first viewing is an overview of discovery that will amaze you, the landscape, the actors, the advice,... Michel TEICHET takes us once again to discover the golf courses of the Mediterranean. With BIRDIE n° 9, he went to the Golf de Sainte Victoire in the Bouches du Rhône. Beautifully located golf course facing the mountain of the same name: the Montagne Sainte Victoire dear to the painter Cézanne. Michel TEICHET is accompanied by two Pros Julien MILLET and Alexis TAILLE to send us their techniques so that we can draw from them the advice that will regulate our automatisms.
BIRDIE n°9 discusses the approaches, the drive, the bunker exits, with their kindness and all the attention they give us, our three pros show us and demonstrate that there are several ways to play for the same situation!

Birdie 8 Golf Destination of GAP BAYARD
Again in the cockpit with Michel TEICHET who takes us aboard his plane and his dream destinations…
The Birdie channel: its technical approaches golf, its panoramic discoveries and its dizzying views from the sky…
Michel TEICHET is always accompanied by available pros, their distillation of good advice is received 5/5 and their good mood adds to the desire to join them.
The destination of the day, the Golf of GAP Bayard where Michel TEICHET and Sébastien Saqib were greeted by the director of the place Michel GIRARD before joining the local Pro Anthony Manasseh.
After the fortified sides of Castellane and Digne, Sistern aboard the Durance marks the demarcation between Provence and Dauphiné with the ascent and Col Bayard.
A little before the summit, Gap is called the “soft capital” of the Southern Alps because it is good to live in a sunny climate 300 days a year at 735 m altitude.
7 km away, Bayard Plateau at an altitude of 1 250 m is an oxygenation centre of 200 ha which offers an 18 holes of golf drawn in 1989 by H. Lambert in the middle of a forest that protects winds with very nice views on the park of Ecrins and The hills of the Durance Valley and 60 km of cross-country ski slopes in winter.
For some golfers, the Gap Bayard Golf Course is the reference mountain range: Dream panorama, no artificial noise, pastoral setting and correct elevation.
In view of the interest it arouses, it is advisable to reserve its departure and a cart, especially for those who lack of training.
From the green of the 9th and the departure of the 10, we enjoy an exceptional glance on the valley where the lake and the dam of Serre-Ponçon are encased.
Attention, we do not play 9 holes, because the 9 is at the end of the plateau… with the View!

This Tuesday, July 12th was both a pleasant and strong moment in intensity.
Camille MUFFAT’s soul hovered above the 1800 meters of the VALBERG GOLF CLUB, each of the persons present for this tribute was certainly a certain gravity during the official speeches of the deputy Mayor Charles-Ange GINESY, of Nelson MONTFORT and Philippe CANDELORO but the good humour and the good words of the two lighthouse guests brought the celebration to what Camille MUFFAT would have wanted: a day of happiness under the sky and the mountain of Valberg.
Nelson MONTFORT did not fail to underline the action of the deputy Mayor Charles-Ange GINESY, Christian GUEMY, president of the Sports Club of Valberg and Virginie MIGNOT, director of the club of Valberg and responsible for tourism in Valberg in the realization of this Event.
The day started around 10:00 by a scramble, luck smiled to the competitors because the weather forecast had a few showers that occurred but without much impact on the course of the event.
As soon as the golf was over, and as we pointed out in the preamble, a sumptuous homage to Camille MUFFAT was followed by the unveiling of the commemorative plaque sealed on the façade of the clubhouse.
This day concluded with a lunch on the theme of the mountain concocted by Stéphane, manager of the Restaurant du Golf and his entire team.
The appointment was taken for 2017.

Birdie Lesson 7 at the Barbaroux Golf course - Inaugurated in 1989 in the heart of Provence, in the Var department, the Golf de Barbaroux is one of the most prestigious European courses (designed by Pete and P. B. Dye, the famous American architects).
Set over a distance of 6 068 m (6614 yards) in a landscape of 87 hectares, its natural environment is resolutely spectacular: fields of vineyards and wooded hills of Mediterranean pines. Why Barbaroux?
To make a fantastic move at the start, on a field of vines to reach the fairway, to avoid three Great Lakes on the same hole or to meet the challenge of putter on the biggest green of Europe (69 m entry-exit: Half of one by 3 on another site !). Whatever your strengths or weaknesses, this championship course is never boring!
Michel TEICHET is greeted by Benjamin Caternet, Manager General, and then join the local pros, ALexis TAILLE and Thomas REHBERGER, who will accompany you on the championship course of the Var and help you better play it...
