The next meeting of the LONG DRIVERS EUROPEAN TOUR is the very first and much anticipated CUP OF NATIONS, arguably one of the highlights of the season.
The international teams will compete on September 21st and 22nd at Château Golf de Taulane. Golf spot unique in France located at 1000 m altitude and 60 minutes from the Mediterranean and Cannes.
The organizers bring together the best “hitters” in a unique competition of its kind.
The best LDET players after the Nations Cup will qualify for the LDET Masters Cup, which will take place on Saturday, October 20th at Panorámica Golf in Spain among them the European Top 4 with Martin Borgmeier GER, Robin Horvath GER, Dewald Lubbe RSA and Jordan Brooks ENG.

ULTRA GOLF PDIVONNE 2018 ENERGY Cleantech of Divonne les Bains had a painful passage for its first edition with the first day, which was difficult to cross with bad weather on Friday afternoon but which in no way affected the will of the players to continue l'Ultra adventure.
Being "Ultra" deserves, and the 92 Ultras of the 2018 edition have passed the "exam" with success and mention "very good". Playing 72 holes in two days deserves to be emphasized and especially to be lived. Many Ultras came to the discovery of this challenge that they imposed themselves, according to the individuals, the effort is supported or fought, and the difference to reach the victory is often at this level.
The mental and physical preparation is important to be able to face the meteorological rigor, psychological and repeated physical efforts.
Ultra Golf pushes the individuals and their bodies to the extreme, the strongest, the best trained are the best ones to fight for the top 5 rewarding the first 5 teams in Brut and the first 5 teams in Net.

The struggle for victory was bitter. The winners in BRUT of the 2018 Edition Xavier ROGUET and Christian MEIER won the tournament with the smallest difference separating them from the team that finishes second! A single point separates them from the seconds who made a near perfect recovery when he was 10 points behind!
The NET ranking is won by Tom SUHAS and Antoine FRAYSSE with a score of 148 followed by Jean-Louis and Bénédicte ROSTAING with the same total but beaten on the last lap.
The two days ended in the most beautiful way on the Club House Terrace where the award ceremony and the closing cocktail party were prepared.

In October 1990, under the leadership of Patrick DREVON and the Cannes Sports Association, the Old Course hosts the first edition of the Open Golf Police Cannes which remains in everyone’s memory. The first edition, which brought together 84 players, brought together nearly 400 players 13 years later for a week of exceptional golf.
2018 The first RYDER COP
In 2017, germinates in the mind of Sébastien MANADIN of the Monaco Police to create a tournament called the RYDER COP, in a nod to the famous RYDER CUP. The SNOW GOLF VALBERG, which experienced a slight shift due to a snowfall on the night from Friday to Saturday, took place Monday, April 2 under a radiant sun and spring.
The entire team of the Tourist Office, directed by Virginie MIGNOT and the President of the Office of Sports, Christian GUEMY, have worked to make the event a success.

The grooming of the course (on the hole n ° 1 of the Valberg Golf Club) was executed by Fernand CARCIOFFI of the Ski lifts of Valberg who started the operation from Friday then reissued it on Sunday morning!
The cold of the night froze the course putting the last “paw” for a good reception of the balls.
The conditions were met so that the fifteen participants could compete in a festive and mountain atmosphere.
The course, designed by Christian GUEMY, consisted of 3 “playful” holes 1 Par 3 of 110 m and two Par 4 of 220 and 300 m as well as a 4 ° Par 3 for the contest of Approach of 90 m.
After having trained and prepared for the conditions, all in all, the players gathered for the approach competition for which we remember the Golf Méditerranée had endowed the award ceremony with trips to Morocco, au Domaine des Remparts de Marrakech, a rangefinder and boxes of bullets.
All participants were able to train for the approach competition to assess the distance and range of the ball. But sometimes it’s frustrating when you’re closest … to training! That’s what happened to one of the podium candidates, a superb approach to training and beaten during the approach competition … really annoying!
Virginie MIGNOT and Christian GUEMY, in front of the success of the operation, think about a format that would go from 3 to 6 holes for 2019!
